Terms of Service

Welcome to Weirdo ("Weirdo," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Weirdo mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use Weirdo. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement;
• You are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.

Weirdo does not prohibit individuals from using the Service solely on the basis of prior felony convictions or sex offender registry status. However, all users — regardless of background — must comply strictly with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws.

We reserve the right to request age verification at any time and to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or poses a risk to the safety of other users.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• All activity occurring under your account;
• Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false information or impersonating another person.

3. User Content & Ownership

"User Content" includes any text, photographs, audio, video, messages, profile information, or other material posted, uploaded, or transmitted through the Service.

Ownership

You retain ownership of your User Content. Weirdo does not claim ownership of any text, audio, video, image, or other material you post.

License to Weirdo

By posting content, you grant Weirdo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and use your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service.

This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where retention is required by law or where content has been shared with other users.

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Weirdo is a judgment-free platform — but not a lawless one. The following is strictly prohibited:

A. Sexual & Indecent Content

You may not post or transmit:

• Pornographic or sexually explicit imagery;
• Nudity intended to arouse sexual interest;
• Indecent exposure;
• Solicitation of prostitution or escort services.

B. Child Safety

You may NOT upload, post, or transmit:

• Any Child Sexual Abuse Material ("CSAM");
• Any photograph of a minor in a state of undress;
• Any sexually suggestive visual depiction of a minor, whether real, altered, computer-generated, or otherwise created;
• Any sexually explicit or exploitative visual content involving minors;
• Any photograph of a minor to whom you are not the parent or legal guardian, where such posting violates applicable law or privacy rights.

Mandatory Reporting:

Users who encounter suspected CSAM must report it immediately using in-app reporting tools.

Upon positive identification:

• The content will be removed immediately;
• The user account will be permanently terminated;
• The material and identifying information will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and/or relevant law enforcement authorities as required under U.S. federal law, including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.

We maintain zero tolerance for child exploitation.

C. Illegal & Harmful Conduct

Users may not:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate others;
• Promote violence, hate speech, or unlawful discrimination;
• Engage in fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, or catfishing;
• Share private information of others without consent ("doxxing");
• Upload malicious software or attempt to interfere with the Service;
• Circumvent bans, moderation systems, or enforcement mechanisms.

5. Reporting & Moderation

Weirdo reserves the right to:

• Review and remove content at its sole discretion;
• Suspend or permanently terminate user accounts;
• Retain evidence of policy violations;
• Cooperate with law enforcement authorities.

We are not obligated to monitor all user content but may do so at our discretion.

6. Safety Disclaimer

Weirdo does not conduct criminal background checks unless explicitly stated. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

Weirdo is not responsible for:

• Offline interactions between users;
• Misrepresentation by users;
• Emotional, physical, or financial harm resulting from user interactions.

Use caution and good judgment when communicating with or meeting other users.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time within the app.

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

• You violate these Terms;
• You engage in illegal or harmful conduct;
• Required by law enforcement;
• Necessary to protect the safety of users or the public.

Termination does not limit any legal remedies available to Weirdo.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, logos, trademarks, and design elements of Weirdo are owned by Weirdo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." Weirdo makes no warranties regarding:

• Accuracy or reliability of user profiles;
• Compatibility between users;
• Continuous availability of the Service;
• Security free from unauthorized access.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weirdo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weirdo, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
